Tank Adaptors: The pressure sensor can be adapted to any tank by one of the following means:
- Directly to tank side - simply screw the sensor into a pre-existing female 3/4" BSP tapered thread.
- On the tank side using the Side Wall Adaptor (for thin walls e.g. stainless).
- To tank top using Top Mount Adaptor (requires 1/2" ABS or PVC pipe cut to correct length)
- On to Drain Valve using the Drain Valve Adaptor.
- On to pipes from tank - using the range of pipe adaptors. (different pipe adaptor sizes available).
Tank Sender Interface Modules
If there are tank sensors already in the tank that cannot be removed then Smart Switch Technologies offer interface modules for use with the TM4000 and TC8000 systems.
- 4-20 milliamp loop adaptor - for use with any other
sensor with a 4-20 milliamp output.
- 0-180ohm or 240-33ohm adaptor - for use with
VDO 10-180ohm or Teleflex 240-33ohm senders.
